I spent most of my time during the quarantine caused by covid-19 studying Viking art trying to give it not a modern interpretation but to create a REALLY Viking work of art (especially based on Mammen's style).
This is the result.
Every knot, line, curve that you can see in this work are strictly based on the Viking knowledge of craftsmanship, NOT copied or reinterpreted by some find, but an original work based on respect for the rules that those craftsmen have left us...
Trying to decipher and harmonize the sinuosity of the shapes was, for me, a strong and rewarding experience that has permeated almost all of my time.

Ho trascorso la maggior parte del mio tempo durante la quarantena causata dal covid-19 studiando l'arte vichinga cercando di darne non un'interpretazione moderna ma di creare un'opera d'arte VERAMENTE vichinga (in particolare basata sullo stile di Mammen).
Questo è il risultato.
Ogni nodo, linea, curva che potete vedere in questo lavoro sono strettamente basati sulla conoscenza vichinga dell'artigianato, NON copiate o reinterpretate da qualche ritrovamento, ma un lavoro originale basato sul rispetto delle regole che quegli artigiani ci hanno lasciato...
Cercare di decifrare e armonizzare la sinuosità delle forme è stata, per me, un esperienza forte e gratificante che ha permeato quasi la totalità del mio tempo.
